Timmy Had A Secret

Diana_Carolina

Timmy had a secret, beneath his little tongue

But no one argued Timmy, for he was much too young

Timmy had a secret, something had to be done

Before the hasty countdown of three, and two, and one.

He'd always stay inside, whenever outside the sun

Never played tag, hide and seek, or Daddy and Mum

He'd hide under the table and eat alone his lunch

And what was called bedtime, he called his time for fun.

Timmy had a secret, but I was much too frightened

To look around the room always poorly lightened

Much too afraid to look away from where He'd be standing

For every time I blinked, the more his smile would widen.

Something was being hidden, I could tell by the quiet floor

Secrets are for adults, still I couldn't tell much more

I felt much tok scared, to let my eyes explore

What do you know? Count down from four,

Timmy's no longer by the door.

Timmy had a secret, beneath his little tongue

But no one questioned Timmy, for he is much too young

Timmy had a secret and nothing could've been done

Before the hasty countdown of three, and two, and one.

Lo que más inquieta no es lo que cuenta, sino todo lo que decide callar.

Los secretos son inquietudes que cargan más de lo que callan 🤫 gracias por leer!
