BROTHER
My dear brother,
my truest friend.
I’ll love you forever,
beyond the end.
The tumors in your head
keep you asleep.
I can not comprehend-
it feels like a time leap.
I still remember
our days of youth;
believing in forever
and chasing truth.
Come back to me,
if ever you can.
But if you must leave,
I’ll try to understand.
