I hear the trumpets blowing
I hear the angels singing
and I hear my heart pumping,
my ears ringing
my pulse beating.
Is that the voices of heaven
descending like a string of pearls
shooting flashes of light from Jupiter moons?
or the notes of a harp
hanging in the melodious breeze?
Who can answer I ask?
my voice carried away by the echo
resonates in undulated waves,
lulled by the winds with amazing grace
soft and warm like an embrace.
An angel of the Lord appears
dressed in shiny turquoise garments
gold threads and shimmering bells
dangling from his wings.
He invites me to join the choir
and wear a purple velvet coat
with a dazzling trail
a dream coat I say.
The taught of Joseph with his technicolor
dream coat cross my mind,
I see halos floating around
a whole game of color and sound.
I sing hosannas to the Glory of the Lord
dancing and swirling around,
waving in the six directions
bind branches of scented Myrtle
willow, golden Etrog (citron).
Come and sit in the Sukkah (boot)
between our guests the Ushpezin and us
enjoy a feast of glorious foods and songs.
Hosanna!!!!
