The Old Brooklyn Bank

Old park bench made of wood and cement

How many loves have rested in your buttocks?

The afternoon is not alone, it has youthful laughter

Amid the joyous bustle of their flying skateboards

Our gaze is lost, between the late afternoons

Unpainted by the weather of time

He has hugs, kisses, tears, laughter, and sorrows

Infinite memories and whisper of our great love

This bank keeps the history of yesterday's heart

In the suns and their moons of my cheerful neighborhood

Your encrusted curly hair, among the April roses

Sharing your love on this cold afternoon

The empty bank, but full of your memories

There are hearts carved with red arrows

While the finches nest it among their melodious trilling

The afternoon pales and the sun is going to sleep

In front is a large church, with its quiet bell tower

Tears from the old bank like the smile of the day I met you

Here I will be waiting for you with my heart in my hands

I know that you will return, like the waves to its beaches full of love.

Thanks a lot.
