A mi edad tocando puertas de la vida buscando amor
Deberían salir bragas como mariposa de mil colores
Tomarlas en mis manos y echarlas a volar
Y mirarlas cuando se van perdiendo en el firmamento

Yo a mi edad mendigando una miga de amor
Habiendo tanto miel en un jardín cercano
Solo queda el néctar de las flores de esta primavera
Absorbida por las abejas imperdonables

A mi edad no se puede vivir solo de la nostalgia
Cuando el cuerpo viril todavía hará la tierra

A mi edad con el cuerpo sofocado de calor

Knocking on Doors


At my age knocking on the doors of life looking for love

Panties like butterflies of many colors should come out

So I can take them in my hands and make them fly

And watch them as they get lost in the heavens


Me, at my age, begging for a crumb of love

Having so much honey in a nearby garden

Leaving only the nectar from the flowers of spring

Absorbed by the unforgiving bees


At my age you cannot live on nostalgia alone

When my virile body still will make the earth

The raging water still breaks the rock over and over again

No more memories of panties from the North, South, East and West


At my age with a body suffocating from heat

The carnation full of life waiting for the first drops of rain

My bristly skin, long heartbeats and quiet voice

At my age, knocking on doors, looking for forgotten panties
