olvidando las afrentas
de aquél que nos ha ofendido,
¿Por qué pelear en vano?
¡Hay que ser noble mi amigo!
Perdonando con el alma,
¡De lo agreste saca un higo!
Y tendrás la dulce dicha,
y serás muy bendecido
por Dios que todo lo ve.
¡Perdona siempre, perdona!
Al prójimo y al vecino,
no guardes rencor odioso,
mejor actúa con tino,
pues todos necesitamos
del amor su bello aliño
y la paz con toda gente.
