Belinda Berrios

The stone and the diamond

The stone and the diamond.

So different but so strong,

Both of them

Formed thanks to the time and cruelty of life,

Both of them

With life full of impending misfortunes,

Both of them

Being part of the terror of life

In equal parts,

Both of them

Trying to be a part of life.

They are the stone, and the diamond. Home

Both of them,

Lovers and victims of a life full of cruelty.
