Nocturnal Song- Canto Nocturno

 I reach your peak,

and rest my eyelids in your rock;

here is where I find bliss,
your stones have a unique shade;
each one is stroked by the poppy,
my mouth embraces the moon
and she looks at me with watery eyes.

I stand and fold the waist to smooth her face;
the stars tremble,
now the clouds sweat and the rocks cry their way.

The zephyr falls with the dawn
and the words sway in my palate,
shine in my heart as sea sparkles,
sprinkle me with warmth and vanish in thin air.

Your gaze moves against me like a wave;

surrounds me and girds me,

I retrieve in my nest.

 

Alcanzo tu cima,

y descanso mis párpados en tu roca;

aquí es donde encuentro mi felicidad,

tus piedras tienen tonos únicos;

cada una recibe la caricia de la amapola;

mi boca abraza la luna

y ella nos contempla con ojos húmedos.

 

Me levanto y doblo la cintura para alisar su cara,

tiemblan las estrellas;

ahora sudan las nubes y lloran las rocas del camino.

 

El céfiro cae con la alborada

y las palabras se mecen en mi paladar,

ellas alumbran mi corazón como luciernagas;

me bañan de tibieza y se difuman.

 

Tu mirada se mueve dentro de mí como una ola,

me cerca y me ciñe;

se pliega en mi nido.
