Amor a Primera Vista- Love at First Bite

 Me emana una dulzura que se desmaya

y me llena de ternura,
antes de desintegrarse en mi lengua;

son pequeños raviolis rellenos de castañas y miel trufada

 espinacas fritas tan ligeras y crujientes;

 con salsa de chocolate que lo cubre;
es una explosión de color, de brillo y textura;
magia que estalla en mi boca.

 

 Me contacto con el instante;
mi corazón late,
mis alas se agitan,
un estrella parpadea,

exploro los confines de mi espacio

mi mente, mi cuerpo, mi alma y mi espíritu disfrutan en unísono

 esta celebración de los sentidos;
amor a primera vista.

 

A sweetness emanates in me and faints

 filling me with tenderness,

 before disintegrating in my tongue;

 they are tiny ravioli stuffed with chesnuts and truffed honey

 fried spinach so light and crunchy

 with chocolate sauce that covers;

 such burst of color, glow and texture;

 it's magic exploding in my mouth.

 

I engage with the here and now

 my heart pounds,

 my wings flutter,

 a star twinkle,

 I explore the confines of space,

 my mind, my body, my soul and my spirit rejoice as one

 in this celebration of the senses;

 love at first bite.
