I was conceived deep in the ocean Fui concebida en lo profundo del océano
lulled to sleep by gentle waves y arrullada por olas suaves
the seagull carried me to the sky  me llevó  la gaviota la gaviota
to be born in the morning star. y nacer en la estrella de la mañana.


Riding on a shooting star Ahora cabalgando en una estrella fugaz
across the midnight sky, y atravieso el cielo de medianoche,
i descended on earth  voy desciendo a la tierra
to meet my kin. al encuentro de mis hermanos.


These violent creatures ¿ Estas violentas criaturas
screaming shouting que gritan y chillan
are they my kin? ¿son mis hermanos?
It cannot be! ¡ no puede ser!


I was raised with tenderness Me crié con cariño
and devotion, y devoción,
surrounded by love rodeada de amor
and compassion, y de compasión,
what a strange place is this que lugar más extraño es este
I thought and thought! ...reflexioné! ...
what can I do to benefit from this world? ¿Qué puedo hacer para aprovechar estar en este mundo?
